Patterned 3-layer composite-coated G2205 Stainless Steel Spigots, available in Matte Black, Silver, and White.
When are Non-Conductive Spigots Needed?
In brief, for concrete pools, bonding is required for all conductive elements within arm’s reach (1.25m) of the pool’s edge that are in contact with the earth’s general mass, including the reinforcing mesh, pool steel fencing, glass fencing, and metal ladders.
For fiberglass pools, conductive fittings within arm’s reach of the pool’s edge that are in contact with the earth’s general mass must be bonded if either of the following conditions is met:
1. Conductive parts of electrical equipment are installed within the pool zones (within 3.5 meters from the pool’s edge).
2. Exposed conductive parts of electrical equipment (such as pump motor or light fittings) are installed beyond 3.5 meters from the fiberglass pool’s edge. If the equipment is further than 3.5 meters, bonding of conductive parts is not required.
